What We Believe!

The Inspiration of the Scriptures

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason (II Tim. 3:5-17, I Pet. 1:23-25; Heb. 4:12).

Trinity

The One True Godhead is revealed through three separate and distinct persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one entity. Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. (Rom. 3:30; John 6:27; John 20:28; Acts 5:3-5; John 14:16-17; 1 Tim. 3:16)

Man's Fall and Redemption

Man was created good and upright, for God said, “Let us make man in our image, after Our likeness”. But, by voluntary transgression, man fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Rom. 5:12)

Salvation

Man’s only hope of salvation is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. For by grace we are saved through faith. As the Bible reads, “the word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that is the word of faith which we preach, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.” (Rom. 10:9, 10; Eph. 2:8-10)

The Holy Spirit

All believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect and earnestly seek, the promise of the Father, to be “filled with” and led by the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:14), according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. Being filled with the Holy Spirit can be identified by the evidence of the “Fruit of the Spirit” (Gal. 5:22,23) in the life of the believer.

Eternal Security

Once the Holy Spirit has completed the work of salvation, the believer is forever sealed in the family of God. The believer’s actions and lifestyle serve as evidence that the Holy Spirit has also completed the processes of redemption and regeneration. (1 Jn 3:7-9; Eph 1:13, 14; Eph 4:30)

Core Values

We believe, preach, and teach the Bible as truth and apply the biblical principles of Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship, and Missions to our lives and ministry.
